Skin too pink and monitor calibration!

Well, I was wondering, do you know at what height I should be looking at this photo or any photo on an LCD monitor; since for example in this photo, her skin gets more pink as I move it higher and not parallel to my eyes. I am having a really hard time trying to distinguish if it's my monitor or the image needs to be corrected.

I tried to calibrate my monitor earlier today after reading other post here and using QuickGamma. Could anybody give me some feedback about the colors in the image posted here. Too pink?

It looks too pink to me. I calibrate my monitor with a Spyder 2. But with a newborn, it is hard to tell....

Thanks for looking at the photo. Yeah, that was the thing that I was thinking about also; that's it's a newborn. I was trying to base myself on the cap that she was wearing and tried to reduce the color a bit and trying not to make it too pale. This sure has been a tricky image.

i thought looked a bit red, so add some cyan?

On my calibrated CRT (no angle problem) it looks too red and overexposed. I would: a.) reduce the brightness and b.) reduce saturation which will simultaneously decrease the red and boost the green and blue.
