So it was our four year anniversary last Wednesday, and I decided to stretch my imagination a bit this year. For those of you who didn't know, there is a theme for anniversary gifts each year. The first year is paper, second year is cotton, third is leather, and fourth is fruit and flowers.

So I'm thinking I could give her a basket of fruit and pick up a bouqet, and call it a day. But where's the fun in that? I decided to instead pick up a bottle of Far Niente Chardonnay (following the "fruit theme" :D), cook her baked dijon salmon with shrimp fettucini (no fruit, but it went well with the Chardonnay), and arrange for her this non-traditional bouqet of flowers. Do any of you know what these flowers are called? ;)

I believe those are excellent examples of the rare Fruitopolisis onasticolis.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

LOL, those are great.
I've noticed those have come in style around here, the fruit bouquets, never seen anything like it but those are cool. Good shots too. ;)
