The very reason I joined this forum was for this trip. (Well the one I took 2 years ago, and now again for this one). I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me sort out what gear was best for me. I leave tomorrow with just a 30D, 17-55, and the Sigma 30EX. No filters, no hood for the 17-55, no spare batteries, just 8gbs, and my eyes. I can't wait to come home and share my experience through pictures. Thanks again everyone!
