Hi, just playing with the new black and white conversions in Photoshop cs3. What do you think of this outcome?

I particularly like the patterning in the intersection. B/W works well for this photo IMO and you've processed it so that there's enough contrast for it to be interesting. Good work! Jenne.

Other than converting to B&W did you do anything else? 2 Samuel 9:7-8, "So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

The perspective is awesome, sweeping from the street below to the sky above. And there's the human element too! Love it. I'd recommend burning the upper part a bit but it's no biggie. Pio

I find myself looking for white.

Jun 18, 2007 20:10 | #9 Thanks for the comments everyone! This was created with CS3. The new black and white conversion is really simple to use. I tried darkened the sky a little too. I might go back and try to burn in a couple of areas though...I'm not to good with Dodging and burning yet.... http://www.amorrisphotography.com
