I nipped out to my local biker café (Squires) today for a frothy coffee and a pasty, there's a small aerodrome near by and people are used to seeing light aircraft flying about. Today for a change this guy flew over and started doing some aerobatics, he (or she) was quite a distance away and these shots were taken at 400mm hand held and are quite heavily cropped so please forgive the quality.

ncie pics but would really gain a lot by cropping so plane is not centered. If image editing was turned on, would recrop to get your opinion

Image Editing is not turned on for a reason, have you seen the abominations people put on of others shots. "I hope you don't mind but I've had a go at your photo" is the usual line, it should read "hope you don't mind but I've made a real mess of your shot". As on this occasion these are only chance snap shots I give you my full permission to do as you please with them.

Nice shots, & I wouldn't be unhappy with that quality?

local biker café - frothy coffee and a pasty,

Contradiction in terms? ;)

it should read "hope you don't mind but I've made a real mess of your shot"

There's something that bothers me about these shots.... erm.. ah yes! It's the blue sky. You say you are from Yorkshire.... I don't believe you ;)

You comments in post #5 made me laugh. What bugs me most is the 'you did this wrong, here let me do it right for you' crowd!

(PS #2 is the one for me to!)
