Castle Wedding shots, 16-06-2007

I haven't introduced my work in this forum, so I'm doing this with some images of the wedding from Saturday.
My main job is IT, but more and more people were asking me to shoot, so I'm offering it leagally (with a lot of paperwork ) and this was my "first" official wedding as pro, even though I had shot quite a number before.

We had planned the shooting in a local castle. The whole week was bad weather, the days before it was just raining all day long.
Even though the forecast was mixed, we had luck.

Very good, great for your first "pro" wedding. Helpful thoughts:
1) They're on a bit of a lean?
2) Beautiful. I wonder how a high contrast B&W would look.
3) Great, I think a fraction of a second too late to get his best expression.
4) Try midnight sepia on a layer at 40% to bring out the bricks, perhaps with a vignette. Try not to get too much MS on them. Just a thought.
5) Cool How about the two of them leaning on the wall next time?

These shots are just the first converting from LR, no further processing so far.
I'm still sorting the images by just reducing them, haven't seen 700 shots. Then I will do the processing of all shots

As the couple is back in 4 weeks, there is no hurry.

Regarding 3), I have this moment too, as there are 230 keepers of the castle section.

The problem is that you have to be registered for doing photography in Germany, even though they gave up the the necessity of a degree master of photography, as "there is no danger for public" (no joke).
Without, you can't even charge your own costs if you shoot. If you do all for free it's ok. Otherwise you can be fined badly (illegal work). This way it's my second job and the demand is even higher as I had expected, as I don't advertise. I'm getting inquieries just by mouth to mouth advertisement at the moment. In IT I have plenty of work too.
