Hi Folks,
Today, just shooting normally on a sunny day in California. I popped the built in flash for some pictures of my friends. I didn't bang it or roughing the flash at all; but when time to close it, I was unable to.. ? The flash kept stay up and wouldn't close. I finally used a tape to keep it shut. I tried to check any thing seems out of normal; the button to activate the flash looks and feel normal. Flash still fired good. Still yet it couldn't be closed. It didn't have a soft click when you push it down. Any advises to troubleshoot this issue would be so much appreciate. Now, my camera looks so ridiculous with a piece of tape on the flash!! :(
Ian.

try activating the flash while holding the flashead down with your finger,
you will here a CLICK and than the camera will probably give an error for not being able to pop up the flashead!
reset the camera just by turning it off and on again and it should work fine again

if not try it for the 2nd time
