Ah! My favorite bird! Love their calls/song, the plumage, behavior... except when they go for their long underwater swim... then pop out on the other side of a lake somewhere... heh. Nice pics! 5DMkIV + some Lenses

The eye is what makes a bird shot (in my opinion), and the dark headed birds can be quite difficult to photograph for that reason. Nice job. LD, or Mike
