I am working on composition, what do you think? What would you do different?

This is not an arrangement, it is natural at the Botanical garden.

I think that I might crop the left side back to remove the rear yellow flower that seems to be out of focus, but more importantly, seems to have the yellow blown out. It might look OK on the original and have just experience the yellow "bloom" on the web reduction.

Otherwise, a beautiful grouping of flowers.

Is the violet/purple background natural or a byproduct of post processing?

I might have moved a bit to get a cleaner background, then framed the image either 1) so the main flower nearly filled the frame, or 2) so the main flower was off-center, with interesting detail in the remaining space.
It's a beautiful shot, however.

Nice image Jerry,
I think I'd have cropped out the yellow flower on the right side and made more of the far-left yellow flower bringing it more into focus - otherwise still a pleasing image.
