i did but i am more excited about the 40D than the 1DsmkIII. i have no real need for the FF and i also don't have $8000 so at this point, the 40D looks like it will be a perfect second body.

Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I have the MK III if I need a high burst rate, and I have full frame covered with the 1Ds MK II (now obsolete). I'll be just fine for a while. I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

This time though, i am not planning on being a "beta tester". I just hope that mark III experiance though us something and that less people will be willing to jump on it right after it shows up in the stores. That could teach canon a little bit more respect for loyal customers. Lukasz Drogowski

I will wait though to see if there are any similarities between the AF functions in the two cameras so as not to jump from the frying pan right into the fire. I think the main feature that caught my eye is the smaller size and less weight, but I haven't yet compared the Ds with the 1D in the weight department. The M3 does weigh a ton. Gear List

Other electrical adjustments and inspection and cleaning were carried out. Customer lenses should be checked for focus accuracy. That sounds promising because thats what was done on those that afterwards worked was it not ? EDITING OF MY PHOTOS IS NOT ALLOWED

That's my understanding. No "adjustments" were made on mine either trip back and I'm still feeling it is not fixed. Kenny A. Chaffin
