My car ('06 BMW) actually has a little more vibration at idle. But, then again it does, 0-60 in under 5 seconds. :D

Yawn. Sportbike riders haven't bothered to measure 0-60 times for about 15 years. Come back when you have something that'll do 0-100 in 5. :p

Testing a little more using AI Servo on a static subject...

These were shot with the MkIII and the 70-200 2.8L IS, under "harsh" lighting. This is supposed to be the secondary problem next to tracking a moving object. Here are the results from the August manufactured body I picked up today. Again, no Cfn set, no PP, etc...

Looks good. Try the ROF in AI-Servo and let us know how that goes. When you get the chance that is. :)

From tonight - this stadium is usually my worst lighting nightmare - locked in @ iso 3200 f 2.8 and 1/500 about a 50% crop - IMPO the Mark III paid for itself tonight.

Here you go...exactly the same method, just changed the AF from center to RoF and shot at 1/20 rather than 1/15. I think it actually did better.

I agree, looks really good. Actually all the shots you have posted so far using that body look great.

I have a feeling that when "it's on" it really does smoke the mkII series. I'm shooting formula motorcycles in two weeks. If it can track bikes at 150mph...it can track anything.

I'll be using it in studio this weekend for some shots for pub. We'll see how that goes.

Cool! I'd like to see some of the burst shots in action. I have some sequences but, it's mostly a bunch of kids on there scooters, and electronic dirt bikes. I did a wedding in low light and they turned out awesome. I used 3200 and 6400. Link: https://photography-on-the.net …=372451&highlight=jdizzle
