No where near as good as the pics Mitch posted but it was taken on fathers day if that counts for anything.

And I do know how to spell Bullock's

Ha, don't kid yourself, I don't have a shot of one with a baby in the open. :)

This is nice. Where are you located?

Nice picture, fathers day indeed! I've seen one out and about in my yard but today he landed on the H-bird feeder. Pretty funny watching him trying to figure it out. I went and hung a half an orange out side and he was back in 15 minutes. If I weren't working I'd try for some pictures.;)

Is there anywhere you HAVEN'T lived?

I've lived and worked in 17 states for more than a year and many others for shorter periods because of the kind of work I did. And I was a cross country trucker for 10 years, so I have been in all the lower 48 many, many times over. I was in Alaska and Hawaii for a few months when in the service, and have been around the world on a show the power cruise as a Marine stationed aboard a ship before I was 19. BTW, this was predicted for me by my grandma when I was 4 years old if you want to believe in that stuff. I wouldn't change a thing. ;)

This is an excellent capture...especially under such tough lighting conditions.
