Hey all,

This is from a set I shot in downtown Leesburg; not only my first set of night shots with my new camera, but the first set shot in full manual. I dont know why, Full M always seemed to intimidate me but I'm actually liking the control of it much more. I still need some work, most of these are PP'd with a few levels adjustments and sharpening, any comments or criticisms would be appreciated, thanks!

Very cool shots, like them all...probably #1 and #3 are my favs. I have almost the exact same pic as #2 taken at night from a place near my old apartment. Great colors in the shot.

Nathan, as you have said, night shots are best done in full Manual mode. Good job you did there, remember to tame the highlights as it is easier to bring out the details in the shadows. I like #3 best, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how the highlights were going to turn out but its good reference for future shots. After upgrading from a PnS its so nice nice to take some decent night time pics :p
