These two put on a show at the Brooklands Centenary Festival, sadly I was not able to get a very good position with my limit of 300mm zoom.

Thanks guys for looking and commenting.

The only down side that day was that they only did about 5 laps of what is a very short circuit so just as I got comfortable with their 'run' they finished the session :(

They were not as noisy as you might think but on the overrun as they brake and the airbrake on the boot/tail comes up they are distinctive. They may have their engine origins in F1 but they are by comparison highly noise managed as far as I could tell. I would think if they were given some serious wellie there would be a definite growl.

:D

Now this one was very noisy, it is last years F1 with this years paintjob and body kit (if I heard what the commentator said correctly?)
