Am I doing something wrong here? It doesn't look quite right yet. Can someone tell me what I can do to make these pictures look better framed. I've been toying with doing digital framing for a while now. This is my first attempt with a book I bought "the photoshop elements 4 book for digital photographers" by Scott Kelby. It's expensive, but helpful, I think.

Any comments that are useful :rolleyes: is appreciated.

The frames are too large for me.

Thanks for the comment. I was actually thinking the same thing. That's what the book recommended and I just couldn't see it with such a large mat. And I want to see if I should put a black strip right by the picture itself. Would that improve the first one?

I think it would look really nice with the first border being dark, the second being light, and the frame being dark. Can you post that so we can see the difference?

I think that looks better. What do you think? But it might look better thicker. Almost as thick as it would be to the grey line, but not quite that thick.

It's a work in progress and I saved the original with layers already put together instead of separate. My son tells me I'm a duffus and should try it again from scratch, but he helped me put the black strip in. :) He's such a good son. ;)
