I was considering getting an 11 X 14 of this image, landscape layout, what crop do you think would be "BEST"

Please post examples, I want the rider and horse both to stand out..

This is a good shot just as it is...great exposure & very sharp. I'm sure it will print well. The only thing that bothered me was the way in which the front post is positioned so it looks like the rider's foot is resting on it. After removing it, the result wasn't great, so I ended up removing the whole jump and now the horse's position looks awkward without it :D. Anyway you asked for examples so here is one (also cropped a little off the right side and reduced the light in the top right corner). I like your original.
