A+ for the great way that the shadows were captured! They really add to the mood of the picture.

Why does everybody list their gear here?

Great capture.. what else do you do besides D+B? I just love the processing, tempted to try something similar on some Morocco travel shots I have!

Nice capture, Pio!

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...

Hey all, thanks for viewing and for the kind comments! As some of you may have figured bye now, I love bicycles and enjoy taking photos of them. There's more to come.

As for who's ogling who, well this is New York where someone is always ogling somebody. The cyclist is actually someone familiar to me as we pass by each other sometimes when I am on my bike and I have seen her on some of the rides we have here. I just gave her a wave as she passed by and she waved back. As for the truck driver's assistant, he may have been ogling her, but then again, if he was ogling me, well, this is New York :)

PP is my usual basic desat and D+B workflow, but I have experimented with some layer masks and blending modes here. The darkened edge was created using layers, with a feathered rectangular marquee slightly smaller than the photo, with Color Burn blending mode enabled.

Thanks for looking all!

Amazing as always :)

Your digital darkroom "signature look" is very nice....there is always a great tone to your images. Not having much time to get out lately, I'm living vicariously through you!

Great shot, incredible timing :D
