I keep seeing EXIF, and kinda figure out that its an image file that contain shooting information. But how do you get the information there and how do you read it? Can you do it with JPEG?

Assuming Windows, right click on any picture you have taken, than select "Properties" and then there should be an EXIF tab.

In Photoshop it is File/File Info then Camera Data 1 or 2.
