The question seems to come up now and again and since I own 2 of these I figured Id take some pictures. I dont consider the Canon EP-EX15 an option since it makes the viewfinder smaller and dimmer, but since i had one I threw it in for the pictures.

In theory the Oly and Nikon should be pretty similar, in practice I find the oly more comfortable, and the nikon more practical. You have to be precisely positioned with the oly or you dont see the whole viewfinder.
Overall Id take either of them over the stock VF eyepeice, but I think the Nikon will stay on my camera and the Oly will go on my 350D, or I should say my fiances 350d! For the price Id say the nikon is worth it, but hunting around ebay might find you one a bit cheaper than B&H (I got mine for $19 shipped).
Of course a larger viewfinder is still a wonderful thing as anyone who has looked through a 1 series of 5F will tell you, but for my use and budget this isnt a bad way to go about it. Hope this is helpful to someone.
