Similar to the Laughing Gull, but these are found mostly inland on freshwater lakes and marshes.

Very nice shot. I like the way he seems to be pondering the big world out there. Great exposure as well. Very similar to Laughing Gull. I guess maybe if you saw them mixed in with Laughing Gulls you might see a slight difference. A real ID challenge.
