My new AA rechargable batteries and chargers arrived today from Thomas Distributing. I placed the order on June 14th over the internet and selected United States Postal Service parcel post for delivery. To pick up the package at the post office I had to pay the usual Canadain taxes, GST and PST. I also had to pay a $5.00 handling charge. There was no added duty charge.

I recieved a PowerX MH-C801D 8-cell charger and a PowerX MH-9000 WizardOne charger. I also ordered 16 PowerX AA 2700 mAh batteries. These should more than adequately replace my 'old' Energizer rechargables.

Based upon my quick review of the directions for the two chargers, these are complex electronics, way beyond the simple charger that I have for the Energizers.

Thanks to those who shared their experience and knowledge in my earlier battery tread.

Ken

Gear: A bunch of Canon stuff and a bunch of old Olympus 35 mm stuff (OM-1, OM-2, etc).

I can't comment directly about the items you ordered, but can say that I have ordered chargers (Maha) and batteries from Thomas Distributing in the past, and am very satisfied with their prices and customer service.

Not sure about the batteries, but I have that charger and it is great. Also, Thomas Distributing is a very good place to purchase from. Let us know how the batteries work for you as it seems like AA batteries are always a problem.
