I too am a rebel XTi owner, but i have afew questions, these pictures all have great color. Do you guys shoot in Full auto, manual, what? And do you guys, if shooting in manual, use the standard mode, custom, mono, portrait landsacape etc? These colors are all great, im just wondering how i can get mine that good!! Also, how do you guys post process?

I realize, this is a lot of questions, sorry!!

I generally shoot in manual (3 of the 4 I posted were in manual) & user defined mode. My PP is generally just a touch of curves or levels.

I normally use AV or TV mode. I upped the sharpness, Sturation, and contrast a little I think. The only processing I did on mine, was cropped in PS thats it.

Here are two of my favorites.

#1: An experimentation with my Nifty Fifty and some B&W conversion.

#2: Capture of my son in the park with my 70-300 IS...love the bokeh on this one...perhaps I'm easy to please.

Wow, these are amazing photos...very rich and smooth. I just ordered my XTi with a 20mm f/2.8 lens and a 200mm f/2.8 lens. I cant wait to get it and start shooting. The last camera I owned was the Canon G2. I was never satisfied with it. Pictures were way too soft. I am jacked about these pictures you all have posted.
