It's a very nice picture. One alternative is to get much lower and really emphasize the movement of the water (since that is the main subject). As it is now, the trees take attention away from the waterfall. The log is also a bit distracting but it would be a challange to use it as a positive in the composition.

Nice pic. I wouldn't change anything!


The equipment list:
20D, EF-S IS 17-85mm with hood and filters, EP-EX15, Grip BG-E2,
4 2GB SanDisk EXtream III CF cards, Dell Inspiron,
Manfrotto 3205 Tripod, Lowepro Orion AW backpack,

Very nice shot...I think I might try cropping it to 8x10 format...but beyond that, I really like it.

I like it as is but having the camera lower to the ground would be an improvement I think.
I would have shot it at several angles then picked the best one.
