I have set monitors before. My present monitor has about three settings
4500k
6000k
9000k
I know how to set these but I am not really sure what I am doing. Do the different settings corredsspond to photography white balances. In that case 4500k represents daylight, 9000 represents a room in almost total darkness.
I have thought of editing photos with the light on in a room with curtains closed. That would tend to produce similar results night or day.
