Perth - Drift battle round 3

just got home from Barbagallo raceway
after snapping my Monopod in the morning (helping my fiancee over the fence with it - oops) and putting up with wind, rain and hail i got some great shots
my monopod still works,it just falls apart when you pick it up.
After today i no longer feel like i am fighting it and it certainly helped me get some of these shots
let me know what you think of them (EXIF should still be attached)

yes - earlier in the day, and they arent as good as my shot from the top of the hill, i will put a few others up later tonight

Geez mate, hope you had the right wet weather gear for your camera...oh and a hat for your head at least! . I haven't seen that much rain in 6 months!

wet weather gear for camera = hiding behind a flag point when it started hailing - oh and remembering a lens cloth to wipe the spots of the lens

thanks for the comments, and come on up for a battle - next battle is 28 july - qualifying from about 10ish and battles start at 1:00

thanks for the comments,
i saw the huge rainclouds in the morning and went into perth to grab some waterproof gloves, and i probably would have gone home earlier if i wasnt stuck in the middle of the track and unable to get out - it was really cold and wet up there, at least i had a flag point to try and shelter behind, another photographer as sitting halfway along the esses when it started hailing, he wasnt overly happy about it
