Maybe My eye has gotten more keen to it. But I recently noticed more noise lately on my pics.

Noise reduction does reduce sharpness and image quality - so I think of it as more of a limited use tool for extreme cases. The noise that you're seeing, is it actually visible in prints? It's hard to judge on the small image... maybe post a 100% crop if you're thinking you may have an equipment problem? Belle's Photography
