Inscription-wise that is.

I'm going to buy a new one and saw that they offer free inscription. I just wanted to get ideas.

I had seen that someone put "DON'T PANIC" on their iPod. I'm thinking I might copy this, being a Hitchhiker's fan myself.

What do you have on yours?

Mine says 'iPod' '2Gb' and a load of very small writing with the serial number, and who made it etc. also there is a symbol telling me not to put it in a bin  and the 'CE' mark...

Or isn't that what you mean...

Hah.. Some of those were quite amusing. I didn't even know you could do this. :p

Now if I had an ipod I'd have to think up of some suitably witty and amusing phrase to apply to it..

What's an iPod?

Wait, is that the thing those aliens on The Simpsons were always driving?

do you folks not use covers/cases for your ipods? i would be concerned about the display becomong scratched if i was not using a case. and if you do use a case, why engrave? you won't see it, unless your case is clear.

first off, I don't have a ipod. sometimes I think it would be neat but that's about it.

2nd thing, if you are going to have some like an ipod, cellphone or even a camera, don't worry about it getting scratched, these things in life do get damaged no matter how hard you try to protect them. anyway if you protect them, you don't get to see it anyway.

anyway when it's damaged you can go out and buy a new one. being a consumer rocks. we get toys and large company's make money.
