Obtaining C1 for the Mark II

I've been trying to upgrade to C1 SE (from LE) for a few days now so that I can process RAW Mark II files, and the link to purchase is broken (apparently) at the Capture One site. I even tried to get to the download using a different browser on a different computer system.

Does anyone have suggestions to get around this problem? I don't see a "contact" link at the Capture One site to even write to tell them what is happening. Apparently no one there checks these things, and they don't notice a lack of sales. Thanks.

Mike

There has been much reported unhappiness with the C1 version for the Mark II. People have been very dissatisfied with the c1 conversions of Mark II raw files. The thread can be found at: http://www.robgalbraith.com …collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1 (external link)

To quote Scooby-do: rut-roh!

After reading that thread and the post by Michael Tapes, I wonder if any of these problems exist with the C1 SE that I bought yesterday. I traded emails with Mr. Tapes yesterday regarding my order for the product, and he didn't mention any of the problems (though I can imagine him being tired of the subject).

I'm speculating, but I would think that SE is just a version of the Pro software with some features stripped out, i.e., the conversion engine should be the same. Hence, I may have problems. Then again, maybe Mr. Tapes said nothing because it's all fixed now. :D

Well, I guess I'll install DPP after all. I'm REALLY anxious to get out there and shoot RAW with my new camera this weekend. Thanks.

Mike
