It's a nice shot and the effect is well executed. You could tinker with it but you are moving into areas of personal preference for instance, I might lift the shadow detail and satuate the colour a little but that doesn't mean it needs it. I like the second, cropped shot bettter but then I prefer tighter crops anyway for their added intensity and drama..... "All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth."
