1st Water Fall attempt.

Here is my first attempt to get the misty effect from a water fall. Critiques will be appreciated. Denny

Well done - the first is easy on the eye and pleasing to look at - the eye seems to follow the stream from top left to bottom right. Love the lighting too.

If I have a gripe then I'd say that I'd prefer it if the fall was not as central and possibly more to the left - but it works OK the way it is.

Well, you certainly got your "misty" look there. It's a nice shot and the effect is well executed. You could tinker with it but you are moving into areas of personal preference for instance, I might lift the shadow detail and satuate the colour a little but that doesn't mean it needs it. I like the second, cropped shot bettter but then I prefer tighter crops anyway for their added intensity and drama.....
