Heres some snaps of last night's shoot for Rock Industry Magazine. Interviewd the band, reviewed the gig, and took some snaps to boot.

But shush, the mag isn't released till the begining of next month, so none of you have seen these yet!

C and C welcome and encouraged.

I think everyone is just busy, Tipsy. These and your other set all seem somewhat dark, very similar perspective, only one person per image (not conveying a sense of "band") and pretty heavy on the tilted side. And being small (500 rather than 800 pixels) and without EXIF makes them more difficult to evaluate ... 800 pixels is kinda the minimum (even though it is the Max here.) I like #3 and #8.

Yea, i can see that. The lighting sucked. it's a big venue and the lights are usualy great but they were horrible this gig. and the barrier had been brought forward tightening the pit. my 24mm wasnt wide enough for full band shots.

I had no idea i had stripped the exif :S Must have done that on accident. And bigger, okay, i shall next time. I need to get out of the tilting habbit.

As for my recent lacking of postings, im sitting my A-Levels currently (last one tomorow) and hardly had time to post these up or comment anything else. I shall be back to my usual activeness soon enough.

The different color applications are just interesting... I don't know that they add much to the appeal...

I would encourage adding a watermark/copyright/signature to each photo too...

The colours are simply the way they are cause i couldnt get a satisfactory white balance in capture one pro without too much noise. the lighting was the crap.

Yea watermarks i usually use, but on here i guess i dont feel it neceserry as i know that other photogs are not going to nick my work, and if they did, i could always sue them for breach of copywrite.

# 3 is nice. #4 is nice, apart from the color.
Don't be to anal about noise, it won't show at this size, or in print ;)
