I usually use a shutter release when using long exposures or large lenses. This means I'm behind the camera and not in front of it. This being the case, I think I'm going with the wired release instead of the remote (since the remote sensor is in the front of the body).

The other (the flat one with the big circle in the middle) only has a 2-second delay.
