This is a Photoshopped style of infrared which I thought suited the subject - your comments as always are welcomed.

Other shots of the same Churchyard can be seen here:

I wanna see more. Can't see much detail outside the door. Looks like a nice shot, though. I wouldnt be able to critique as an expert would, but... I want details...

The highlights are too far blown for me. How did you do the 'fake' IR?

I tend to use the channel mixer set to R = 160 G = 140 B = -200 as a starting point, but sometimes nothing will work.

Here's an example of one that did:

I still got the blown highlighs, but there is enough contrast in the foliage that they are not overpowering IMO.

I also used the channel mixer +180% Green, 100% red, -180% Blue

Then I converted the image to lab color mode and selected lightness channel did unsharp mask with settings of 130%, 0.3, 0

Selected grayscale mode and discarded the other other channels when prompted, then I duplicated the layer, did Multiply blend on top layer and reduced the opacity of the top layer down to 50%. I also increased the contrast by +10

I did blow the highlights out but liked the effect as it seemed to give a little more impact to the plant shadows on the door. The first link I included was the better IMO one with no blowout.
