I shot this one today with a SUNPACK circular polarizer. I like the deep colors and the lack of reflections with the CPL. I think I love this filter!
What guys do you think?

Special colors but regarding the composition I would have put the highest "husk" entirely on the picture.

Who cares for the composition when viewing these colors through the viewfinder
Joking of course!
Well, I agree that this crop sucks. But I still like the colors :D

I just bought a Quantrary Circular Polarizer, its all they had in the store here without me having to order online. When i walked out I put it on...WHAM...instant blue sky and awesome clouds. Ive had some serious issues with getting the sky and colors to turn out here in the mountains of Tennessee, they always seem faded and if I want to fix it I have to spend some good time in Photoshop...which I would love to not have to do

Excellent shot, I love it, the colours as well as the composition.

Do you think one would fit/work on a Powershot A70?

It will not fit, since the lens of the A70 isn't threaded. But every size/brand will work for sure. You'll just have to hold it in front of the lens and adjust it by rotating it. You will have to shoot with the LCD "on" to preview the effect on the display.

Very nice shot, I think it could be more intresting if you can blure more the sky.

Nothing was blurred here. Only levels adjustment was done.

Here's another shot from the same day with the same filter:

Nice shot, & I agree with all of the above posts. I know that you're excited about the new filter, but I'd also crop out most of the sky, too.
And, it's nice to have someone else here who shoots the occasional "Weed Pic"!

I agree about the crop - but then what you wanted to show us was the sky, right? - do you think there is such a big difference between companies as regards results from a circular polarizer - I honestly thought they did all exactly the same thing

I like both shots Nikolay. Beautiful colors. Really like the 2nd one. Needs a little more DOF, but is a neat shot just the same.
