Rotating Image

When you take a picture with the camera vertical, and you view on camera, I have camera set to auto rotate for my viewing. However, when the picture is downloaded to the computer and you view, it needs to be rotated. However, when I take like 400 pictures in one setting that need to be rotated, it is a pain in the you know what to rotate them all one by one within Windows.

How can I get past this (other than not taking pictures vertical) and possible not have to do these individually?

from what i understand, rotating an image after downloaded to the pc causes it to degrade. someone can confirm this if i am correct.

so don't rotate, just work on it and print it and then hang it in proper orientation.

i know you didn't ask what i answered, but it's info that may help you in some way.

If you use a program with an image browser like DPP or Adobe Bridge(or almost any other) you can just select them all at once and click the rotate button.

Smucker I havn't heard of orientation degradation. Only when you want to rotate within a program. Like anything other then a full 1/4 turn. Or when you use Ctrl+T such as in Photoshop.
