Well, apparently I did it. Just got two of my images on the front page of leading national daily with circulation of around 1.000.000, which in Finland means more than 20% of all people in Finland... Couldn't believe it, but now they are offering me a check... Nice...

The monument in question is venue of 1952 Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, which just started to burn while I was visiting my girlfriend. Luckily I happended to have my 20D with 70-200/2.8 in my car, which I went to grap. The photos I sold were quite like these attached (although in paid images the building was actually burning with a lot of smoke and such). In any case, this just feels good...

See and here I was thinking I probably shouldn't spend so much time and energy keeping my camera with me and ready all the time. :)

Hey thank you everyone!

Truly this was about right place at the right time... Sometimes one gets lucky. And about carrying camera, well, got lucky there also. Although my camera was in the boot of my car, it was parked close enough to get the photos in time.

And for Khall, getting pictures in was rather simple. They have a web form for this purpose accepting images of upto 10 megs (Yes, that is large) per file (something I thought was nice, but which I thought I would never ever need - how wrong I was).
