PSE 5 on Vista

Hello all and thanks in advance for the help.

I just purchased a new laptop yesterday and of course it came with Vista. I'm trying to get Photoshop Elements 5 to load on it and things are just not working. I applied the patch from the Adobe site and when I launch PSE I get the splash screen but nothing else. Has anyone else seen this issue before. My old PC died and I currently cannot edit images in my prefered editor until PSE starts working. I'm like an addict without a fix.

Please help.

Any thoughts?

I've been looking at the Vista sticky but just can't find anything that seems to relate.

Ok, figured it out. Needed to have the organizer folder recreated. Thank goodness.
