Are these getting better? I know it is hard to get worst as you practice.

I really like the shot of the Mourning Dove. I didn't check the EXIF however would think it might be helpful to increase the ISO a bit so you could use a faster shutter speed. I'm certainly no expert but do try to get shutter speeds around 1/1000 for birds (maybe a bit less if using a tripod)

I am going to attach a sticky note to my camera that says "Check and adjust your ISO". I will check and everything else but that is what I always forget. So thanks for pointing that out, in that picture of the Morning Dove it was only set at 200.

you used flash so 100 iso would be fine on these ALSO you carnt use above your flash sync around 1/200 sec -so dont go setting a faster shutter unless your NOT using flash.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
GyRob thanks for reminding me that 1/200 is as fast a shutter speed I can get while using the 430ex.
