There are those on Adobe Forums talking about getting the 1.1 version when they purchased and downloaded this evening. However, those of us that bought before tonight can't seem to find the upgrade... yet.

After I read this I checked (I ordered the download) and redownloaded my order, and the file size is bigger 30mb compared to 25mb... hmm.. maybe its here, I'll give it a try after I backup my library.

Apparently, those that downloaded the program at purchase are now able to get the new version. Damn... I bought the box.

Where? The Adobe site is a maze (that's a noun).

Go to the Adobe site. Look for the link at the top of the page for Your Account (you might need to log in to see it). Browse to View Order History. Then click on Your Downloads. At least, I think that's how you get to it...

My copy of Lightroom doesn't see the update yet either. I am getting the impression this was released a little early. By that, I mean that this might not be "live" until tomorrow or something...

Well, I'm getting excited - just downloaded a file called "LTRM_WWE_win".

It has exactly the same file name as the one I downloaded in February when I purchased it online. BUT, the new file size is 31,409 KB, and the old one is 22,670 KB, so I think it must be 1.1.

It's really strange that they've used the exact file name without a 1.1 suffix though.

Anyway what I did was go to Adobe's site www.adobe.com (external link)

At the very top is a tiny line beside the itsy-bitsy shopping cart that reads; Your Account. Click on Your Account, and the Sign In page comes up.

Type in your e-mail address and password.

The next page is "Your Account"; under Purchases, select View Order History" (Adobe has their own special way of being difficult).

The next page is "Order History", and you have to click on "Download" under DOWNLOADS? Geez they're cute.

Another page!!! entitled; "Your Downloads". These people are a pain in the ass.

Finally you can actually download the file (with the same name as before).

I created a new file folder called Lightroom 25 June 07 just in case I don't like the upgrade.

EDIT: Just read "ifonline" comment above - what's up? I'm going to try it.

Unfortunately, I got the boxed version, so I don't have a download history. Ah well... It's time for bed, although the "refresh" button is getting a lot of use tonight!

Must... not... click... refresh... and... check... for... upgrade...

The version I downloaded in February is 1.0.0.3
Under Properties/Digital Signature, the date February 9.

The one I downloaded a few minutes ago is 1.0.0.8
Under Properties/Digital Signature, the date is June 21.

And the new one is larger, hmmmmm?

Make sure to backup your catalog(twice maybe) before converting it. The first time mine only brought in about 800 of 6,000 photos... but I made multiple copies before installing 1.1 just in case this happened.

Still no easy search by multiple keywords that I can see... grrrrrr. They could have at least made ctl-clicking work like it should.
