Hey, just chill!

There are bigger things in the world to worry about!
The accidental leak wasn't planned. It was sheer fluke that someone was watching that particularly download link at the exact time they tested the download mechanism, and it got spread all over the web like wildfire. But surely that, in itself, tells you how close the final release is!
Victoria:
Windows version.
Incidentally, it was probably on their site for at least an hour. As I noted above, I had downloaded and installed it, then discovered it wouldn't recognize my data base. I then restored my computer to a time prior to installing, but the update deleted 1.0 which I couldn't seem to restore. I then went and had my evening meal, cleaned up the kitchen (to cool off), and returned and downloaded it again, this time copying a copy to a CD.
It's now up and running on my machine.
I might have the only CD copy in existence, other than Adobe.
Let me say this - if all they fixed was the Clone/Heal tool, I would be quite pleased with it. I've removed some ants from a flower petal that are just barely noticeable when looked at by zooming in twice (Ctrl +, Crtl +). And if you didn't know where the ant was, you wouldn't find the spot.
I really can't comment on the sharpening as I have only used Elements 5.0 and this for a very limited amount of time several months ago. When news of the improved sharpening in LR 1.1 was announced, I simply left sharpening undone and waited for 1.1.
It might be laziness or no desire to go back to PS 5.0, or not wanting to have to convert my files from CR2, but I'm likley just going to do sharpening in LR 1.1 provided that other users comment favourably on its effectiveness.
I have really taken to the controls in LR for all other operations though, so having good sharpening would make it the full package for me.
