A Chaotic Beginning

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]
Canon Digital Rebel XT, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8, Available Light

This to me is chaos. Just after the baby was delivered he was surrounded by several staff members as they worked to get him cleaned up, and at the same time get him breathing well on his own. The evening was chaos for me. Everything happened so fast, I spent the rest of the night dazed from the sudden burst of activity after a long night before.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler - Albert Einstein

QM Plastics Fire in Windsor, Ontario. Just happen to be in the area during the fire! I have some friends on the police department...they let me get in close for some really cool pictures. No one was hurt during all this CHAOS! But it took all night to get this plastic factory fire put out!

Wow. tough one to judge!! I think thet all had good chaotic qualities, but only one actually SHOWED some chaos; which is what I was looking for!!!!!

Congratulations to grumpyhaggis and 'volleyball, anyone"!!!!. I have NO idea who was supposed to be actually hitting that ball!!!! To me, it looked like they were after the darn net!!!!!

The birth of a baby is very chaotic, and was a close second. But, to me, the photo showed extreme competence, not chaos.

Since I am also a firefighter, I see no chaos in what the firemen were doing. Again, they showed a competence, and I am glad they were able to get the fire out safely with no injuries!!!

Congratulations!!!! :D and thanks to all the talented fellow photgrahers who submitted an entry!! Great job to all!!!!!!!

Oops!! :o I really didn't expect to win this! Many thanks for your kind comments. I'm in a bit of a pickle now, as I'm off on holiday shortly (in a few hours) so won't be in a position to judge the next speed challenge for a couple of weeks. Can someone else take it on for me? Please help!

(PS: I love Kevin's picture!)
