Well, yes - it allows you to change the size of the captured JPEG. So you can control how much space the RAW+JPEG will take up.

I can do the same then in Photo shop by just saving it as a jpeg file to have booth. I was under the impression that it did that for you. http://www.flickr.com/photos/61517977@N03/

I read over on the Yahoo Canonhack group that some one had to reset of the custom functions added by the hack back to default in order to use their 580 EX II. Since that is the flash I use I am wondering if it is a good idea to even try the hack. Can any one tell me if it does or does not work with the 580? David
