Does anyone know the approximate cost of a shutter replacement in a 10D, I’ve ordered a 5D as a new camera but would like to have the 10D repaired and keep as a backup. BTW that shutter lasted for about 60k shots so I really can’t complain.

I will look at it when I get home and give you the exact amount.

It was covered under its warranty at the time for me, but they still gave me the invoice to show much the work would have cost. This is my Camera.

I'm close to the Irvine repair center, so just dropped it off and they had it done within three days. It lasted around 50k shots and was replaced last year. It's been an awesome camera. Happy Shooting!
