I have this image of Michaelangelo's David. As you can see the light was not balanced and there was a different light source on his face vs the rest of his body. I'm having a little trouble correcting the uneven white balance in the image.

Can you offfer any suggestions for correcting this?

How's this?

In PS I selected the head using the rectangular marquee tool. Then in Hue/Saturation for the Reds I edited the saturation slider by -61. Finally I used the history brush to remove any unwanted changes in the selection area.

Played with yellow/red saturations around the face (I used polygonal tool for selections)

id use quick mask, paint in the face, invert selection then adjust color with hue/saturation. its really fast and painless.

Really nice work. Using hue/sat didn't even occur to me. Sometimes the most easiest solutions are the hardest for relative novices.

Thanks for the suggestions!
