I wasn't sure whether this was people or travel but I hope that you guys will like this series and will look at each photo as I am not necessarily starting with the best as I would like to give some background and chronology to the photos. Some of the shots that I regard as the better ones are towards the end so please look and comment/critique!

These photos are a result of a charity hitchhike to Morocco which I undertook at Easter for the charity Link Community Development. I hitchiked all the way from Newcastle, England to the south coast of Spain- once in Morocco I travelled by conventional means :)

- Inquisitive and playful kids on the train between Casablanca and Marrakesh

- Whilst visiting the Cascades d'Ouzoud, a local guide took us to see a traditional berber village. On the hike I said hi to this young boy who was herding some sheep on the mountainside.

- This guy walked with us as we got towards his village.

- She seemed to enjoy me taking photos of her after ushering me to come closer

- Another of the boys in the village comes to enquire

- The gang part one

- The cutest kid I ever saw, such happiness in a place of poverty.

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/adamgrayphotography/image/81200962.jpg

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/adamgrayphotography/image/81200963.jpg

- The leader of the gang

- Faces of expectation

IMAGE: http://www.pbase.com/adamgrayphotography/image/81200967.jpg

- By this stage the kids had managed to get all of the change I had on me, luckily a friend lent me a note and I got it changed at the tiny local shop (if you could call it that!). He realised why I wanted the change and helped hand out the change to the children.

- Back in Marrakesh, this little girl was trying to earn her way (probably for her parents) by selling these biscuits. I watched as scores of tourists walked straight past her and almost over her as if she didn't exist.

The end!
Hope you guys enjoyed the photos.

Thanks alot, seems like the first two are the favourites.. Maybe I should have posted them all together as I don't think anybody has seen the latter ones!

I started off with one or two favorites, but by the end.... you had me so hooked that I honestly cannot choose even 5 favorites. I love this series and will have to re-visit this post again (which is rare for me to feel the need to revisit...)

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...

i realy like first image too much and that lady standing upper by the wall is very nice composed image to me. i wish all photos b/w its too sad to loose sand and stone color. sepia toning would work for it i guess.
after all its a great time.

Cheers, seems like the first image is the favourite. Perhaps I will try some of them in sepia sometime. I have such a backlog of photos to edit though! These are just the people ones from morocco.
