I like very much. Good exposure, pretty much unlike anything I've seen before. Very appealing to me.

Well done.

Dbix,

There is nothing awesome about this photo. Duh. Artistic photo? Please. I guess to each his own, but this photo is boring, has a non-existent subject, too dark, no subject, and very poor composition. If you think that is art, well ok, but, duh, that is your opinion. I was posting what I thought, and don't recall asking for your commentary about my opinion, duh. It seems that part of the problem with forums in general is that people are not willing to be honest when a picture sucks. I am new to the forum, but not new to photography, and this photo has little to no artistic value, but Dbix, that is my opinion, duh.

So you don't think theres anything interesting about the way the soft shadow right leads your eye into the image, the repeating shapes of the circles, the texture of the side walk and contrasting those soft shapes the hard angular shape of the coat and legs and the harmonious tones of the image?

I like the photo. It looks like an add you would see in some fashion magazine. I love the lighting of this.

Lighten up Hermes. I do not think anyone was criticizing you or your opinion. Look at the photo from an artistic perspective, rather than a subject perspective. It is a good photo.

I think its great, but then again I'm a sucker for strong shadows. It does look a little blown out in the upper left corner, near the furthest tree. Besides that I really love it it! Great capture!

This photo is very interesting, with its interplay of organic and artificial lines, shadows and textures. I like that there is a human element involved. I like the juxtaposition of static fastness and movement, as evidenced by the grill-bound trees against the walking man. Now if that man was wearing a bowler hat, this could pass off as Magritte's work :) Thanks for sharing, airfrog, well done.
