The recently married Prince of Spain, Felipe, is a Canon 10D user.
After his marriage with Lady Letizia, they went in honney moon visiting several spanish cities before going abroad. In this visits the Prince Felipe was always taking pictures with his camera, a Canon 10D with a 17-40f4L.
A cool choice, isn't it ?
I wonder if he visits this forum. Maybe yes?

the royals of the netherlands also use canon :D

one prince uses the 10D and and the wife of our future king uses a digi ixus

the prince once was on the front page of our paper with the 10D hanging around his neck with the big EOS DIGITAL neckstrap :D
what a promotion for canon

Pardon me for straying from the topic, but where in the Netherlands do you live if you don't mind me asking? I lived in Amstelveen for about a year and a half ago and travelled all over the country. I firmly believe the Netherlands is the nicest country I have ever been in my entire life and completely intend on coming back there to practice medicine when my residency here is finished.

Regards,
Brandon

Not Nice!

If the price wanted an EOS 1D Mk II, I wonder how long he would have to wait ?

It does not surprise me one bit that they have 10Ds...

The thing is.. the "1" bodies are so damn big.. unless you are a pro.. or a wannabe like me.. ...then it is just too heavy to lug around..

This is why I am keeping my 10D as opposed to keeping the "other" 1D... for "Prince-ly" tourism vacation shots.. the 10D (or Drebel) are far more suitable..

...in fact.. a Prince my well have a "1" body as well... he would still be unlikely to be lugging that one along on his vacation .. :)

Well it may be because anything above the 10D doesn't have a 'green box' shooting mode...
