photo Shop cs2 question

I would appreciate any help regarding...Creating a black and white image from a color image but still keeping the eyes the natural color. I've seen this done so many times but I need help. Thanks, anybody?

Easyest way is IMAGE-ADJUSTMENT-DESATURATE then use HEALING BRUSH to restore color.

I like to duplicate the layer , add an ajustment layer selecting Channel Mixer and check monochrome ,,, then just paint on the mask with black where you want to restore color .

All these methods are great. The one I used...duplicate layer>desaturate>eraser tool. Itcame ot pretty nice. I'll try the other methods too. Thanks for all the replies: Tony
