No way Marcus. You surpass Geek, you're a Super-Geek, or a Geek Extraordinaire! ;) That was a compliment, by the way.

Sure sounded it:rolleyes:

I've suddenly have the urge to sing....

Every time we meet
She's all right, she's all right
That girl's all right with me, yeah
She's a super geek, super geek
She's super-geeky, yow
Super geek, super geek
She's a very special girl
The kind of girl you want to know

Oh...wait, those aren't the words..

Uggg... Just waking up myself. Spent about a total of five hours on the road yesterday to take the girls to an amusement park designed for little kids (my girls are 3), and most of the roads were twisting little rural routes that lead into (and from) the middle of podunk. They had a blast. I took lots of pictures. They fell asleep in the van on the way home and didn't wake up this morning until about 7:00 or so. We got nearly eight hours of sleep, so we're up and ready to go again, and today starts the second week of our two week vacation. Yippie!

Well, that was a fun day today... I decided to go to a "more secluded" part of england AKA a helipad that's been deserted to get some cool pictures... Here's what happened

I was awake at 3:30 AM today for icky reasons. Had a wicked nightmare last night. All I can remember is that I was at some friends house waiting for something. This girl was talking to me, but when I'd look at her a freaky dudes face would pop in over her shoulder and head and then pop out again. I kept saying, "Gah!" everytime I saw him and hiding my eyes. They kept asking what was wrong, everyone was getting freaked out. They said they were glad I was there as some really wierd stuff had been happening. In my dream I couldn't stay there, I said as much and got up to run out the patio door. But my friend refused to let me leave without her, so we ran out together. And I knew it was coming after us. So I tried to run, but she was slow and didn't know what I was thinking. I was yelling "come on! we've got to get out of here!" so she started running with me. We rounded a corner and there was a stairs leading upwards. At the top was sunshine and a gas station. I said, "we need to get to the store and buy cigarettes!" for some reason in my mind this was how we were going to be safe. And no, I don't smoke cigarettes. She's right behind me and yells, "He's coming! There's a guy right behind us." I'm a brassy kind of chick. You scare me to a point and then you just piss me off. Darwin would probably consider my temperment as a candidate for evolution to erase. So she tells me he's right behind us, I'm about to run, and instead suddenly I know I can't run. I need to kick this MutherFers ass. Even if it is an evil spirit. So I turn and take a few steps back towards the corner, and he steps around it. It's all dark around him, it takes a few seconds for the the cloud to clear enough to make out any detail. My breath catches in my dream and in real life I woke up in a frozen panic. I swear on the way to waking I saw a grotesque twisted mans face. I'm blinking in the dark, staring into my room and trying to "sense" if I'm alone or not. Turned the lights on, turned music on, came to POTN. A couple hours later I fell back to sleep.

For the rest of the day? Camera shopping for a new DSLR with my friend. Paper Fest (music and beer) afterwards with her and my finally hanging out at my brothers. I would like to get on a bike for a ride at some point today. We'll see how much time I can take for myself.

Ahhh, vacation....wish I was on one now. What is the name of the amusement park Kevan? We have one here called Kidde Park that is carnival ride oriented, but scaled for the wee ones. Took my son and his cousins last year and they had a blast, took some pictures but not as many as I would have liked to take. Kiddie Park is a very old amusement park, I went to it when I was a kid, and I think it has adds historical value to the city. Bet there would be an uproar if it closed down. Post up some pictures if you don't mind.
