The man wanted an 8X10 at 340 dpi. The only way I could get an to 340 was to resample in PSE using bicubic. The image on screen looked the same. Please explain

If you try to resize a 500 pixel image up to 3400 (which is 10" @ 340ppi) then it'll look crap, but a photo right out of the camera, even slightly cropped, will be fine as you've done it. The print lab I use...even suggests using bicubic method
