What San Francisco has to offer?

I am going to be in sf for a few months from mid-July and want to know if there are any good school that offer evening workshop to keep me busy with photography and to give me a reason to bring a good chunk of gear with me.

Also, feel free to post any advise on other photography related activities in the bay area here as I don't really know sf that well.
